Vacuum Furnace Systems (VFS) Corp., Souderton, Pa., received a contract for a new HEP-5248-2 horizontal, front-loading 2-bar external quench vacuum brazing furnace from Modine Manufacturing Co. for its Brazilian joint venture company, Radiadores Visconde, Ltda. Fabrication of the chamber and installation of the furnace at the Sao Paulo facility was completed by Combustol, a Brazil-based representative of VFS. A significant portion of the assembly consisted of Brazilian content.
