Calibration furnace Model #FUR-1200 has been designed for testing and calibration of thermocouples and RTD sensors. Standard calibrations can be performed between 300 and 1150 C (570 and 2100 F). It is designed to perform high-accuracy calibration, as well as long-term drift tests and temperature cycle tests. The furnace uses a high-purity ceramic liner that diffuses the element energy, creating a more uniform temperature field. At high temperatures, the ceramic does not allow metallic ions to diffuse through its wall. Safety features include a control system with two alarm settings: The first setting protects the reference sensor and the unit under test set slightly above temperature set point, and the second setting is a maximum shutdown point and is set to the maximum operating temperature of the furnace.
