Hydro (Oslo, Norway) invested in a 3,500 MT extrusion press for its Hydro Aluminum Chrzanow plant in Poland. The approved investment totals 11 million Euro (NOK 93 million) including additional equipment. According to Hydro, they plan to produce over 26,000 tonnes of extrusion annually, which is double its current capacity, and expect to add approximately 50 employees. The new facility is scheduled to be ready for production by the end of the third quarter in 2005.
