Bricmont Inc., Canonsburg, Pa., has been awarded a contract to supply a 955 ft. long tunnel roller hearth furnace to heat slabs for the new Super Thin Sheet & Strip Project of Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Group, Lianyuan Works, Loudi, China. Bricmont, with its sister company, Inductotherm Metallurgical Equipment Group (IMEG) in Shanghai, will provide engineering, materials, procurement and field services for the furnace, scheduled for completion by January 2004.
