AEC/Heat & Cool's True Temp Water TCUs monitor process water temperature during the heating/cooling process to ensure precise adherence to programmed temperature set points. Compact units are available in 9, 12 and 24 kW configurations. Upright units are available in 9, 12, 18, 36 and 48 kW configurations. The units provide consistent, reliable heating where city, tower or chilled water is too cold for direct process use. To minimize energy consumption, a half-heat/full-heat feature is incorporated into the control circuit. The unit includes an off-the-shelf, DIN-style, auto-tuning PID fuzzy logic controller accurate to within +/-1 F and high-flow pumps with 30 to 120 gpm capacities. (www.aecinternet.com)
