Eldec Induction USA Inc. (Auburn Hills, Mich.)/Eldec Schwenk Induction G.m.b.H. will supply a simultaneous dual frequency (SDF) induction gear hardening system to Boeing Co. (Seattle, Wash.). The system comprises an eldecSDF 1-MW simultaneous dual frequency induction generator and a 5-axis CNC universal hardening machine for precise part handling/processing. The system also will be equipped with an automatic laser inductor alignment system (ALIAS) and highly functional process control/quality monitoring system.
