DiagnosTECH(tm) is a gas furnace integrated ignition control platform that delivers advanced ignition control with fault code retention capability. The new control offers enhanced functions and communications that interfaces with a PDA to simplify maintenance and repair calls, lowering service and warranty costs. The advanced communications options allow furnace manufacturers to run end-of-line ignition cycle tests without time-consuming, error-prone steps of disconnecting multiple wire harnesses. Manufacturers can also monitor defined input sequences and speed-up timings as well as specific outputs to measure, allowing data to be collected more easily and analyzed for quick assurance.
