Solar Atmospheres, headquartered in Souderton, Pa., celebrated the grand opening of its Hermitage, Pa., plant with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 16. The new plant processed its first orders in April utilizing its new 10 bar furnaces. With the arrival of a 24 ft. furnace from Vacuum Furnace Systems (VFS) Corp., Souderton, Pa., in June, Solar Atmospheres is now able to offer a unique resource for numerous industries throughout the nation and Canada. Keynote speaker at the event was Aziz Asphahani, president of ASM International, and those in attendance included local dignitaries, VFS officers, subcontractors and suppliers.
