The Ceramic CoatR system is a high density, ceramic-filled epoxy system for rebuilding and protecting parts and surfaces subject to cavitation, erosion, corrosion, and wear. It can be used to rebuild even badly damaged parts, such as the leading edges of impeller blades, thereby avoiding the need for costly replacement parts. Once damaged blades have been reinforced using a steel bar and expanded metal, the hollow framework can be filled using CT 3000R, a trowelable ceramic epoxy formulation for rebuilding worn and damaged equipment to original performance specifications. Repaired or rebuilt areas can then be protected using Ceramic Coat 4000R, a 100% solids, ceramic-filled epoxy coating having resistance to erosion, corrosion, chemical attack, and wear.
