The Metal Treating Institute (MTI), in cooperation with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), has launched the MTI Government Affairs website.

The Metal Treating Institute(MTI), in cooperation with theNational Association of Manufacturers(NAM), has launched the MTI Government Affairs website (http://www.metaltreat.com/government.php). Members are able to look up local, state, and federal legislators; view the issues that MTI is currently tackling with NAM; respond via letter, e-mail, or fax to legislators; register to vote or obtain absentee ballots; learn how a bill becomes law; see tips on contacting and writing to legislators; and research upcoming elections. The goal in establishing the website is to provide the right tools for MTI members so they can effectively partner with MTI staff and leaders in the governmental process.
