VAC AERO's furnace manufacturing operations in Canada and Poland have recently been awarded several large contracts. Customers in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Russia and Poland have placed new orders valued at more than $10 million. The equipment involved includes vacuum furnaces, controlled atmosphere furnaces and custom-designed systems for certain proprietary processing applications.
Additionally, VAC AERO Kalisz Sp. z o.o. is expanding its heat-treating operations with the addition of a second vacuum furnace. The furnace was designed and built by VAC AERO Manufacturing Polska Sp. z o.o. in Swiebodzin, Poland. So far this year, VAC AERO Manufacturing Polska has booked more than $5 million in new furnace orders and delivered its first vacuum furnace to the North American market. The furnace has a two-bar internal quench design and all-metal hot zone for high vacuum processing applications. Electrical and control systems were integrated at VAC AERO's Canadian manufacturing operations before the furnace was delivered to a customer in Quebec.
