Industrial Heating’s monthly economic indicators for July 2019 all declined from last month, and two failed to show growth for the first time this year. The change in the number or orders and the change in backlog both were under 50. This was the first time since December 2018 that all four indices were not at or over 50. July 2019’s index numbers:
July 2019’s index numbers reflect the changes experienced by responding companies as they compare their June 2019 business levels to their May 2019 levels. A number above 50.0 indicates increased activity or growth. A number below 50.0 indicates decreased activity or a decline in growth.
