Industrial Heating's monthly economic indicators for
June 2012 showed growth in three of four indices. The change in the number of
request for quotes, which increased from May, along with the change in the
number of orders and the expected change in the health of the industry were all
over 50. The change in backlog, however, fell under 50 (49.4) for the first
time since January 2012. June 2012’s numbers:
- Change in number of request for quotes from April to May – 54.0
- Change in number of orders from April to May – 52.8
- Change in backlog from April to May – 49.4
- Expected change in the health of the industry through June – 50.6
