Aichelin Holding GmbH formed a new subsidiary in Brazil that started operations June 1. A-Sistemas Tratamentos Térmicos Ltda. (A-STT) is located in Votorantim, São Paulo, and will serve all existing and new Aichelin customers in Central and South America with state-of-the-art heat-treatment technology. A-STT’s main focus will be sales and local production of heat-treatment equipment, process and safety consulting, and after-sales service (including modernization and spare parts for all Aichelin furnaces). Prior to the formation of A-STT, Aichelin sold all of its shares in Aichelin Brasil Ltda. and terminated its license agreement covering technology transfer for selling, manufacturing, usage and service of Aichelin Group’s heat-treatment products.
