Tenova Melt Shops has been contracted by ArcelorMittal to
provide the turnkey supply of a 300-ton ladle furnace that will operate in
integrated cycle at ArcelorMittal’s plant in Ghent, Belgium. The furnace, which
will specialize in high-quality steel for the automotive sector, is scheduled
for start-up in December 2013. This contract follows the 320-ton twin-ladle furnace
Tenova supplied to ArcelorMittal’s plant in Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland, in 2006.
