Cockerill
Maintenance & Ingénierie (CMI) has agreed to design and supply a new
continuous annealing line for
Shagang
Zhangjiagang Yangzi River Cold Rolled Sheet Co. Ltd. (Shagang Group). Scheduled
to be in operation by August 2013, the continuous annealing line will be
used for processing carbon sheet on Shagang’s new 1,420-mm cold-rolled steel complex. It will handle
cold-rolled low-carbon, ultra-low carbon (IF steel) and high-strength
steels.
The finished product will be used for high-level construction appliances and for the automotive industry.
