SECO/WARWICK S.A. of Poland supplied a vacuum furnace to
Wallwork, one of the largest heat-treatment centers in the U.K. The furnace,
which will be mainly used for the heat treatment of aerospace components, has a
maximum load weight of 1,500 kg (3,307 pounds) and a maximum operating
temperature of 1250°C
(2768°F).
Its work-zone size measures 900 x 800 x 1,500 mm. The furnace’s pumping system
is equipped with a diffusion pump that allows it to obtain a maximum vacuum range
of 10-5
