Thorpe Corp. announced that its subsidiary, Thorpe-Sunbelt Inc., completed the acquisition of Houston-based Blagrave & Duffey Inc. (B&D), a leading designer, fabricator and installer of refractory and mechanical products for the heat-treating, metal-forming and industrial steel-processing industries. The acquisition expands Thorpe's steel-fabrication and mechanical capabilities and provides B&D with enhanced project support and additional sources for growth.
