Metals USA entered into a four-year agreement with Lakeside Steel to provide steel slitting and warehousing services in support of Lakeside’s new steel pipe and casing mill in Thomasville, Ala. Pursuant to the agreement, Metals USA will construct a rail-serviced, state-of-the-art slitting and warehousing facility adjacent to Lakeside’s mill in Alabama. Lakeside Steel expects that the close proximity of the new Metals USA facility, which is currently under construction, will improve the company's material flow and inventory control.
