Poland's SECO/WARWICK S.A. received an order from Prikner, a commercial hardening company in the Czech Republic, for a vacuum furnace. The furnace, the second of its kind delivered to Prikner by SECO/WARWICK S.A., will be used for hardening, carburizing and carbonitriding. The furnace is equipped with a highly developed gas installation, where the primary cooling gas (nitrogen) is fed under a pressure of 25 bar. The installation includes a carburizing-gas dosage system and an ammonia dosage system, which is used for carbonitriding in PreNitLPC® technology. The furnace structure is designed to optimize the high-pressure gas quenching of furnace loads.
