Tomkins plc in London, England and Stackpole Ltd. in Toronto, Canada have reached agreement whereby Tomkins will make an offer to purchase all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Stackpole, a manufacturer of powertrain components, systems and assemblies, primarily for the automotive original equipment market.
