Industrial Heating’s monthly economic indicators for May 2017 experienced a decrease from April, but all four indices still showed growth. This was the sixth month in a row – starting in December 2016 – that all four numbers were over 50. In addition, the change in the number of request for quotes showed growth for the ninth straight month. May 2017’s index numbers:
May 2017’s index numbers reflect the changes experienced by responding companies as they compare their April 2017 business levels to their March 2017 levels. A number above 50.0 indicates increased activity or growth. A number below 50.0 indicates decreased activity or a decline in growth.
