The HTS induction heater – for just-in-time production and manufacturing of high-grade, special-alloy components – achieves an energy efficiency of over 80%, as opposed to 40-50% with conventional systems. The electromagnetic induction of eddy currents provides homogenous and precisely controllable temperature levels throughout the material. There is no risk of material damage from local overheating, and there is a very short start-up time.
