Model 7000AM is an electrically heated bench furnace to be used for annealing M4 electrical steel. Rated for operation to 2050°F, the 10-inch x 10-inch x 12-inch workspace is lined with a heavy-gauge flat wall alloy muffle for use with a nitrogen atmosphere. The muffle separates the chamber refractory and heating elements from the workload and inert protective atmosphere to achieve a lower dew point, which minimizes scale and oxidation on the parts being treated. The unit is built with a silicon-carbide hearth plate to fully support the muffle and conduct and transmit heat from the floor elements.
