ThermaTex is a flexible needled blanket insulation material that can be laid flat or wrapped around equipment and surfaces. Made of mineral fiber, it is available for use in applications at temperatures to 1500F, 815C (ThermaTex 1500) and 1800F, or 980C (Therma-Tex 1800) and comes in 24, 48 and 60 in. (610, 1220 and 1525 mm) wide rolls. Available thickness range from 0.24 to 1 in. (6 to 25 mm). Therma-Tex PRP incorporates a synthetic fiber to be used as a replacement for ceramic paper or for molding applications.
