Dynatech, Haverhill, Mass., supplied three vacuum furnaces to a commercial vacuum heat treater in Indianapolis, Ind. The furnaces are graphite hot zone with 6-bar pressure quench facility and stand-alone Honeywell controls. The furnaces have been used to rapidly process small batch loads with quick turn around, and the small hot zone volumes ensure that even some batch loads can be processed within a few hours.
