SECO WARWICK Allied commissioned a 2-base nitrogen annealing system for Veritas Industries Pvt. Ltd., which is located in Sarigam, Gujarat, India. The scope of supply for the installation included a natural-gas-fired heating hood, two annealing bases, two corrugated inner covers, an air-cooling hood, and a single vacuum pump and control panel. The charge material is mild-steel wire rod coils 1,200 mm (47.2 inches) in diameter x 1,200 mm (47.2 inches) high and binding wire coils 400 mm (15.7 inches) in diameter x 90 mm (3.5 inches) high.

Each annealing base is designed for a maximum batch capacity of 14.4 MT (of 1,200-mm OD coils – four stacks each of three coils) or 28 MT (of 400 mm OD coils – 21 to 24 stacks). The overall stack height is 3,600 mm with base diameter of 3,100 mm. Veritas is part of the Systematic Group of companies, which manufacture binding wire, fencing wires, wire nails, barbed wire and cable armor wire. Systematic Group was established in 1989 and has become one of the leading producers of steel wire products in India.
