Lindberg/MPH announced the shipment of four large box furnaces and three quench-tank systems for installation at a southern U.S. forging manufacturer for in-house heat treating. The systems will feature future compliance with AMS 2750D specifications at various temperature ranges. The working dimensions of the furnaces are 9 feet x 6 feet x 9 feet. The quench systems will be operated with multiple quench mediums for complete flexibility in operation and can handle loads up to 50,000 pounds.

Installation and start-up is expected to be completed in mid-2010. Riverside, Mich.-based Lindberg/MPH is a unit of SPX Corporation, which has over 90 years of experience in the area of heat-treating equipment.
